Paola’s was founded in 1983 by acclaimed chef Paola Bottero and has been a local favorite on New York’s Upper East Side for more than 40 years. Today, the family-owned Italian restaurant is located in Carnegie Hill on Madison Avenue. Inspired by the flavors and traditions of Rome, our menus feature fresh pasta handmade daily, sustainably sourced seafood, high-quality local meats, farm-to-table produce, and imported Italian specialties—all guided by the timeless simplicity of Italian cooking. Seasonal specials celebrate exceptional ingredients at their peak.
